Singer 15-91

As many of you know, Stagecoach Road Sewing restores vintage sewing machines and guarantees them for life. You may not know, though, that we choose some nice machines and test, and then service them so we can offer these fine machines at a more affordable price, as well.

The Singer 15-91 is a favorite among all types of sewists because it's a strong, yet simple machine that will sew lightweight material as well as medium and heavy-duty ones. Using the same direct-drive, internal motor used on the famous Singer 201, this machine will power through thick layers of heavy material like denim, duck, canvas and even garment leather.

We inspected this one and when we'd determined that it's in great shape, we cleaned and oiled it, adjusted the tensions, and took it for a test drive. TR, our technician, quality control expert, and video personality says its exceptionally smooth and strong, and sews great, so we put a new needle in it and it's ready to go to a new, happy home.

Look carefully at the photos because this one has areas, mostly on the back, where the clear coat has become cloudy. If you're looking for something that will sew just about anything you want to put under the needle and do it well, and if appearance is not your first concern, this may be the one for you.
